Affordable (Budget Friendly) Sunblock for Acne-Prone Skin

Affordable (Budget Friendly) Sunblock for Acne-Prone Skin

Published on August 9, 2025

There are numerous brands, advertisements, and promotions that have been promoting specific products, particularly sunblocks, for acne-prone skin

Having acne-prone skin means you have to be careful about the products you use for your face or body. You don't just buy it because someone said so, but it's definitely a must to do research before purchasing any products.

Sunblock is one of them; other people hate it, as some formulas are thick, oily, and even white cast [Which I also do not like]

In the Philippines, it is not recommended to wear a sunblock that has a white cast, especially with morena skin, but if you have a "tisay" or pearly white skin, then you may go ahead and do so. Additionally, using a thick type of sunblock can make your skin more oily and heavy due to the weather conditions.

Here are the products that I'd like to recommend, tried and tested:

1. Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence

Shopping for sunscreen for acne-prone skin in the Philippines can feel like a daunting task, especially if you are on a budget, but it doesn't have to be.

By understanding your skin's unique needs and doing a little research, you can find a product that provides essential protection without causing breakouts or leaving an unsightly white cast.

Remember, the best sunscreen is one you'll actually want to wear every day.
