Affordable (Budget Friendly) Sunblock for Acne-Prone SkinPublished on August 9, 2025 There are numerous brands, advertisements, and promotions that have been promoting specific products, particularly sunblocks, for acne-prone skin. Having acne-prone skin means you have to be careful about the products you use for your face or body. You don't just buy it because someone said so, but it's definitely a must to do research before purchasing any products.
Sunblock is one of them; other people hate it, as some formulas are thick, oily, and even white cast [Which I also do not like] In the Philippines, it is not recommended to wear a sunblock that has a white cast, especially with morena skin, but if you have a "tisay" or pearly white skin, then you may go ahead and do so. Additionally, using a thick type of sunblock can make your skin more oily and heavy due to the weather conditions. Here are the products that I'd like to recommend, tried and tested: 1. Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence
2. Celeteque Skin Defense Brightening Silky Sun Cream
3. Camou Super Lightweight Sunscreen Serum SPF 50 PA++++ Niacinamide Vitamin C Centella Asiatica Extract Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Anti Blue Light Fragrance Free Oil Control
4. Dr. Sensitive Super Sunscreen for Face and Body SPF50 50ml
5. LUXE ORGANIX 5in1 UV Pro Whitening Serum Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++
Shopping for sunscreen for acne-prone skin in the Philippines can feel like a daunting task, especially if you are on a budget, but it doesn't have to be. By understanding your skin's unique needs and doing a little research, you can find a product that provides essential protection without causing breakouts or leaving an unsightly white cast. Remember, the best sunscreen is one you'll actually want to wear every day. |
